Tobacco Cessation Program

Smokers can and do quit smoking. In fact, today there are more former smokers than current smokers.

 
 

The Tobacco Cessation Program provides evidence-based tobacco/nicotine cessation counseling services with a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist. The program will provide relevant and accurate information and resources in order for you to make well-informed decisions regarding tobacco use and the treatment for tobacco dependence. The program is FREE to attend.

APPOINTMENTS

The counseling sessions will provide:  

  • In-person counseling services with a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist who has received the training to help people quit tobacco

  • Accurate information and resources regarding tobacco use and the treatment options available

  • Self-help guidance in preparing for the quit date

  • Support and encouragement

  • Assistance with avoiding common problems associated with quitting

  • A quit plan that is tailored for you

  • Connection to the national tobacco quit line: 1-800-QUIT NOW (1-800-784-8669)
